Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to support our operations in the Tampa market. This role is ideal for an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner ready to take the next step into a leadership role. The HR Manager will provide day-to-day HR support across multiple locations, working closely with local leadership and the Corporate HR team to ensure alignment with company policies, compliance, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and management in the Tampa location. Handle all aspects of employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment. Manage recruiting and onboarding processes for hourly and salaried positions, in partnership with local leadership. Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including timecard management, PTO tracking, and corrections. Administer employee benefits, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation claims in collaboration with Corporate HR. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management, employee development, and conflict resolution. Ensure HR policies and procedures are understood and consistently applied at the local level. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Participate in Corporate HR initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. PHR certification required. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2+ years as an HR Generalist or Business Partner. Experience in the residential home services industry (e.g., restoration, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, remodeling, etc.) is required. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and workplace investigations. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is a must. Ability to travel between assigned locations on a regular basis. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.
