Consumer Health & Wellness (DTC & Retail) Position Overview The HR / Talent Acquisition Manager will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing people operations. This individual will lead recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with experience in high-growth environments and a passion for wellness and team development. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Design and implement hiring strategies across multiple departments including operations, marketing, regulatory, and customer experience. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. Build a strong employer brand and maintain a proactive talent pipeline. Onboarding & Employee Experience Develop and manage a structured onboarding program. Ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the team and culture. HR Operations & Compliance Maintain and update HR policies and documentation in accordance with U.S. labor laws. Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave management. Ensure accurate and confidential employee recordkeeping. Culture & Engagement Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Lead employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs. Act as a trusted resource for employee relations and feedback. Performance & Development Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs. Strategic HR Support Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals. Use HR metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience 5+ years in HR and talent acquisition, ideally in consumer goods, wellness, or retail. Experience scaling HR functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Skills Strong understanding of U.S. employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with
HRIS, ATS
platforms, and productivity tools. Passion for wellness and building a strong, values-aligned team culture.
