Position Description:
San Ignacio University is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to play a key role in payroll management, compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment. Essential Functions:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding :
Recruit and interview staff, faculty, and administrative personnel; lead new hire orientation.
Payroll & Compliance :
Oversee payroll processing, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with policies.
Employee Relations & Support :
Respond to faculty and staff inquiries and foster a positive work environment.
Training & Development:
Organize professional development workshops and in-service training sessions.
HR Systems & Process Management :
Maintain employee records, liaise with ADP and accounting teams, and optimize HR policies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HR software, and payroll systems (experience in academic environments is a plus!).
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management.
Experience:
At least 5 years in HR, with hands-on experience in payroll, benefits, compliance, and policy implementation. Experience working in an academic environment is a huge plus. Have good communications and interpersonal skills, and be detail oriented.
