Detailed Responsibilities
- Support and manage the end-to-end recruiting process to include but not limited to, fostering hiring manager relationships, delivering on our service level agreement, requisition management, posting advertisements, sourcing, screening, and interviewing, candidate correspondence, candidate assessments, and conducting hiring manager updates.
Actively monitor time to fill for open positions. Collaborate with in-unit teams on recruiting strategies and recruitment planning.
- Proactively connect with candidates and build relationships and pipelines.
- Developing and implementing recruitment/staffing plans for the location in partnership with managers.
- Partner with location management teams to structure onboarding and orientation training for new team members
- Design and implement optimal labor models for the local market.
- Drive reduction of reliance on temp labor and increase internal hired.
- Assist locations with preparing staffing strategy for existing and future needs.
- Support locations with networking and increasing local presence in the community.
- Work with the Regional HR to ensure that there are robust and agreed recruitment and retention standards in each property.
- Maintain a current knowledge and understanding or regulations, laws, best practices and new developments in hourly labor HR compliance.
- Support new business openings.
- Assist in various HR projects and initiatives.
- Partnering with the location leadership team to develop and deploy an employee engagement action plan.
- Building of sustainable relationships – effectively interact and collaborate with operators and regional teams.
- Conducting regular audits to verify compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Where applicable, educating and supporting managers in understanding and adhering to the location Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Ensuring the timely processing of all unemployment claims.
- Supporting managers in completing employee investigations and corrective actions processes.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Experience - High level of computer literacy
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience with staffing in the hospitality space
- Experience managing large scale projects
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
