As our HR Manager , you’ll play a critical role in the day-to-day execution of HR operations while supporting the strategic direction set by the VP of HR. Working alongside our Manager, HR Systems, Benefits and Compensation, you’ll be a key partner to employees and managers alike—ensuring our people processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our culture. This role is ideal for an experienced HR generalist who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and loves wearing multiple hats. Responsibilities Talent Support Partner with managers to understand employee and candidate needs Support onboarding of new hires to ensure a smooth and engaging start HR Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies Assist with drafting and updating employee handbooks and policies Employee Lifecycle Management Administer employee changes (promotions, exits, leaves of absence, etc.) Support performance review cycles and feedback programs Coordinate offboarding processes and conduct exit interviews Culture & Engagement Help plan employee engagement events and recognition initiatives Be a go-to resource for employee and leader questions and concerns Actively respond to employee relation issues as they arise and work with the VP, HR to resolve Data & Reporting Generate HR metrics and reports to support decision-making Monitor and analyze trends in turnover, engagement, and recruiting Corporate Facilities Oversee day-to-day facilities management, including ordering office supplies, maintaining snack inventory, and coordinating with vendors and service providers
Requirements:
4-7 years of experience in a human resources generalist or HR operations role Strong understanding of HR practices and employment law (multi-state experience a plus) Hands-on experience with HRIS and ATS systems (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills High EQ and a people-first approach to communication and problem-solving Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative startup environment Proven quick learner; capacity to juggle multiple issues simultaneously; focusing on practical solutions A passion for and experience with sports, media, or technology is a plus Location This role is based in the Greater Orlando area at our headquarters in Winter Park, FL.
