Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Workforce Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and management of drivers for our medical transportation company. The Workforce Manager will also collaborate closely with the Logistics Manager to schedule next-day routes for drivers and ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and On-boarding:

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for drivers, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination. Perform all activities related to recruiting and managing new employees, including on-boarding documentation and background checks. Facilitate a smooth on-boarding experience, including orientation and training sessions.

Driver Scheduling and Coordination:

Work closely with the Logistics Manager to schedule next-day routes for drivers, ensuring efficiency and coverage. Monitor driver availability and optimize scheduling to meet business needs.

Employee Relations:

Serve as the first point of contact for driver inquiries and concerns. Assist in resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive and inclusive company culture.

HR Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems as needed.

Training and Development:

Coordinate training programs for drivers, including safety protocols and operational procedures. Identify and address skill gaps through targeted learning opportunities.

Scheduling and Time Management:

Develop and oversee driver schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Monitor and optimize time tracking systems to enhance productivity and compliance with labor regulations. Provide training and support to staff on time management tools and practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and transportation industry regulations. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). Experience with scheduling and workforce management software. Background in transportation or logistics workforce management.
