Your Opportunity:
This is a full-time, in person position reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. As a Human Resources Manager, you will lead and execute people-related strategies aligned with MyBambu’s goals, ensuring legal compliance and a strong company culture. You’ll manage a small HR team, support leadership with workforce planning, and drive key HR initiatives as we continue scaling in a fast-growing FinTech environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all HR functions including employee relations, benefits, compliance, and performance management. Partner with department managers to support organizational growth and structure. Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters. Manage HR compliance, including, labor law postings, and policy enforcement. Own and improve processes related to onboarding, retention, and employee experience. Design and implement training, recognition, and engagement programs. Analyze HR metrics and report findings to leadership for decision-making. Ensure HR documentation and processes meet the needs of remote and multi-state teams. Lead investigations into workplace issues and complaints.
Skill and Abilities:
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion. Skilled in conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management. Strong data and reporting skills using HRIS and Excel or similar tools. Clear and concise communicator in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal. Able to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred.
SHRM-CP/SCP
is a plus. 5+ years of progressive HR experience; at least 2 in a managerial or lead role. Experience in fintech, startup, or high-growth environments strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
