Christ Position Summary:
Conduct all bookkeeping duties for the Chapter Essential Functions Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering donor data into accounting software (Quickbooks) and Salesforce or current donor database, then filing hard copies
- Collect Payments and expense receipts for student events and camps
- Facilitate registration for events and camps
- Prepare and send out Account Receivable Invoices
- Set-up Click & Pledge Events for Annual Golf Classic, Walk & Run and student events
- Enter and balance all Sponsor and Player/Participant Fees and donations
- Reconcile Quickbooks monthly financial balance to SalesForce donations
- Print monthly donor receipts
- Prepare Annual Giving Summary Letters for all donors
- Update donor information in Quickbooks and SalesForce when received
- Prepare Bank Deposits, PayPal Deposit and enter Click & Pledge Deposits
- Assist donors who need assistance deleting recurring donation or other questions
- Reconcile Bank Statements to Quickbooks
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Maintain accounting files and storage
- Collect updated Vendor information and W-9s as needed.
- Issue 1099s to vendors as needed
- Maintain supplies and order more as needed i.e. check stock
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Exec. Director of errors
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the CPA reconcile inaccuracies Prepare financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
- Managing employee expense reimbursements and credit card charges
- Helping the CPA with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- Manage current donor giving patterns to catch any inconsistencies or disruptions to those giving patterns
- Prepare Report of Camp/Event Income and all expenses
- Collect and maintain W-4s and I-9s for all employees
- Tabulate Vacation and Sick hours for employees
- Process Payroll and file hard copies
- Producing financials for grant applications
- Maintain payment processing systems (Paypal, Click & Pledge, Golf auction software, Venmo, Zelle, etc)
- Prepare links for PayPal and Click & Pledge Donations and maintain links on website Primary and Secondary Steward Responsibilities Engagement in ministry events, participation as a part of the larger administration team and its duties, management of administration systems for the benefit of the organization and its programs.

Fundraising Responsibilities All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts. Knowledge & Skills Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognize errors

- Computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, Salesforce and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
- Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with vendors, financial partners and other employees within the Chapter
- Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms
Credentials:
Required & Preferred Education:
Batchelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Physical Requirements Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents. Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the office to access files or office equipment, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, hand held devices, copy machine, and computer printer. No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force may be required. Good manual dexterity required for the use of computers, mobile devices, and other productivity technologies. The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer and phone are normal.
