We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager with a strong background in talent acquisition to lead and optimize our people strategy. This role plays a pivotal part in attracting, hiring, and retaining high-performing individuals who align with our culture of innovation, craftsmanship, and operational excellence. As an integral member of our leadership team, you’ll be responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts, employee engagement, and HR operations within a growing and fast-paced manufacturing environment at the forefront of HVAC technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus): Own and execute full-cycle recruitment across all departments, including engineering, production, operations, and administrative roles Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies Write and post compelling job descriptions across multiple platforms Actively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, industry networks, and recruiting events Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage candidate pipelines Facilitate a best-in-class candidate experience and ensure timely communication Coordinate and conduct onboarding processes for new hires
HR Management & Operations:
Maintain HRIS records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution in collaboration with leadership Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and policy updates Assist with training and development programs and initiatives Lead employee engagement efforts to promote a positive and productive work environment Ensure alignment between HR policies and company goals and culture
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and talent acquisition Experience recruiting in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors is strongly preferred Working knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization Self-starter who thrives in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
