Human Resource Manager Job Purpose:

Maintains and enhances theorganization’s human resources by planning, implementing, andevaluating employee relations and human resources policies,programs, and practices.

Job Description:

Updates job descriptions and requirements to maintain an accurateand effective organizational structure. Supports staffing needs by developing and managing recruitment,testing, and interview programs; advises managers on candidateselection; conducts and analyzes exit interviews; and recommendsimprovements. Prepares employees for success by organizing and leadingorientation and training programs. Oversees compensation strategies by conducting pay surveys, jobevaluations, and preparing pay budgets; manages individual payactions and recommends revisions to the pay structure asneeded. Supports performance management by training managers in coachingand disciplinary practices; facilitates management-employeediscussions; resolves grievances and provides counseling. Manages employee benefits programs by assessing needs and trends,recommending options to leadership, directing claims processing,evaluating bids, awarding contracts, and educating staff aboutavailable benefits. Ensures compliance with federal and state HR regulations throughregular monitoring, conducting internal investigations, maintainingdocumentation, and representing the organization in hearings. Develops and updates HR policies and procedures to align withmanagement guidelines and organizational goals. Maintains accurate HR records through an organized system forfiling and retrieval of historical and current data. Stays current in the field by attending workshops, reviewingpublications, building professional networks, and participating inindustry associations. Fulfills HR operational objectives by assigning tasks andmonitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes. Recruits, trains, and develops HR staff to support departmentalgoals. Manages HR team performance through regular counseling, monitoring,and evaluations. Contributes to overall organizational success by supporting relatedtasks and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study. PHRor SPHR certification a plus 8-10 years of Human Resources experience
