CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Single point of contact (SPOC) for resourcing needs for specific level, and/or practice(s) or region(s) Actively build and maintain strategic partnership with the business to collaboratively work towards utilization and workforce management goals, initiating process improvements when needed to re-align processes for goal obtainment Promote process standardization in alignment with the RM COE and driving process improvement for effective service delivery Team with offshore RM counterpart to maintain processes globally Ensure compliance of RM processes and SLAs, and assist RM specialists with compliance through training and mentorship Collaborate with RM leadership on RM system and process implementation/enhancements Manage daily operations of RM specialists, provide guidance, mentoring and coaching, and point of escalation Ensure the team is operating efficiently and effectively, aiming for optimal resource allocation, swift and creative issue resolution, and delivering high value Partner with senior manager on resolution of people issues and development plans Partner with regional business leaders to support and address issues related to resource management Analyze weekly/monthly RM reporting packages, utilizing the data to provide actional insights to the business, focusing on low/high utilization, trends, and variance. Assist RM specialists on these focus areas and adjust the analytical needs based on the business’ current challenges Collaborate with senior manager to address workforce management needs and challenges, assist with modeling and staffing gap analysis, and accurately track and report out all workforce management activities for assigned business unit(s). Assist RM Specialists with input for hiring business cases, and provide to senior manager Liaison with P&C Field to identify, communicate and monitor performance concerns and upskilling efforts Train engagement teams when required on RM software and reporting Lead onboarding activities for supported population, and/or specific resource level Monitor pipeline and current schedules across the practice to obtain utilization goals, through effective bench management and cross utilization Continuously upskill on RM procedures, best practices and trends, leveraging RMI resources In addition, this role will support RM specialists and/or smaller practices in matching demand with supply via resource requests, scheduling meetings, and weekly report output by: Making informed staffing placements based on skills requirements, timing constraints, staffing continuity and geographic consideration Incorporating and monitoring prospective work Proactively monitor and address open requirements and resolve schedule conflicts Constant monitoring of utilization and teaming to Identify opportunities for people with capacity Coordination of offshore hours with offshore RM to ensure schedules are updated, maintained and there is schedule optimization between the onshore and offshore benches Ensuring schedule accuracy based on business inputs, PTO requests and firm sponsored trainings Working to find a workload balance for people continuously over allocated Providing development and upskilling opportunities Continuous understanding of the skills and career goals of resource pool
