HR Director Confidential Alpharetta, GA 30009 We are currently seeking a highly ethical, compassionate, and experiencedHuman Resources Director to lead and manage all HR functions in our 140-bed facility specializing in geriatric care. This key leadership role ensures that our staffing, policies, and workplace culture meet the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and regulatory compliance, while promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for staff and residents. This role combines HR leadership with payroll responsibilities to ensure that our employees receive the support they need and that all HR operations run smoothly. The Human Resources Director will play a key role in managing the day-to-day HR operations, overseeing employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and payroll administration. This individual will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR management and payroll, with a strong commitment to employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all aspects of human resources for the nursing home, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff. Administer and manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all employees. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, regulations, and healthcare industry standards. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the mission and values of the organization. Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related issues. Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior management to align HR initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in payroll administration. Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Experience in the healthcare or nursing home industry is preferred. Proficient in HR software and payroll systems.
