Full Job Description About Us:

We are a 75 year old, privately held manufacturing company seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will be familiar and comfortable within a manufacturing environment and will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of HR related activities and operations, acting as the onsite interface between all employee levels and the HR department. This position is entrusted with sensitive information and must uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and trustworthiness. Participates in hands-on operational work with opportunities to contribute to strategic initiatives, including employee engagement, talent acquisition, and process improvement. . Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Reporting to Human Resources Leadership, serves as the local HR representation for management and staff, addressing inquiries and providing support. Partners with and supports local operational management to deliver consistent application of company-wide initiatives. Manages the talent acquisition process to uphold quality standards of hiring, including writing and reviewing job descriptions, posting open positions, reviewing resumes, setting up interviews, extending offers of employment, writing offer letters and new hire onboarding activities. Manages the HRIS and onboarding process using Paycom to seamlessly integrate new employees to the company. Utilizes the Paycom HR management system for various HR functions as delegated by HR management. In a confidential and trustworthy manner maintains and updates employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assists with the administration of employee benefit programs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of benefits information and resolving any related issues. Collaborates with all levels of employees to foster a positive work environment and address HR-related issues. Understands when to escalate complex issues. Coordinates and executes employee activities and events to promote a cohesive and engaged workplace culture. Performs office management duties, including but not limited to, ordering supplies, arranging meetings (including ordering and picking up meals), restock breakrooms, etc.. Participates as a member of the Safety Committee, assists with safety programs and worker’s compensation claims, providing support and guidance as needed. Intuitively handles confidential matters with professionalism and integrity as a standard method of operation. Upholds the effectiveness and reputation of our HR function and our company as a whole. Other related duties as requested or required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience, comfortable in a manufacturing / warehouse environment. Experience with Paycom HR management system is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant experience. Certification in the Human Resources discipline favorable Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with employees at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
