Human Resources Manager Duties:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, communicate regularyy with employees’ direct supervisor on employment related issues
- Answer questions about the benefits programs, employee time card procedures, including open enrollment and claims resolution
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain HR Systems (Justworks PEO) to streamline HR processes and data management
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and development
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics, such as harassment prevention and diversity awareness
- Develop and implement succession planning programs to identify and develop future leaders within the organization
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
- Plan company events such as Holiday partys, trunk or treat, staff luncheons
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in human resources roles
- Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and best practices
- Excellent understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university required
Certification/Licensure:
Applicable licenses and certifications are helpful but not required. Must be willing to acquire additional training as directed.
Experience:
