Days Job Summary:

As the HR Manager at our on-site staffing location, you will play a critical role in managing HR functions, workforce management, safety, client relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. You will be responsible for overseeing employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for a 500-1200+ on-site workforce. This role ensures operational efficiency, drives employee engagement, and maintains compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage onsite operations and build positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

The primary point of contact for on-site operations and liaison for client operations and HR, our corporate team, and our employees. Manage an on-site team of coordinators, train and develop this on-site workforce management team. Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting metrics and deliver them to onsite clients and the corporate office. Manage employee engagement programs, employee relations, address workplace concerns, and mediate disputes to maintain a productive work environment. Process client order requests and collaborate with recruiting to meet staffing needs, conduct interviews, and manage the time-to-fill/fill rate. Follow client-specific hiring requirements (drug screening, background checks, skills testing, etc.). Oversee onboarding, and ensure compliance in new hire paperwork, new hire orientation, and training. Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, weekly payroll processing, timekeeping auditing, referral programs, and unemployment claims. Collaborate with client leadership to address workforce changes or concerns and ensure seamless operations. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies and procedures, and client-specific requirements. Handle personal injury situations, ADA accommodation requests, workers’ compensation claims, OSHA recordable tracking, incident reporting, and investigations. Perform daily facility walkthroughs to ensure safety compliance. Conduct weekly safety inspections of clients’ environments and report findings for risk management. Manage and enforce all safety policies and procedures of corporate and client. Address workforce challenges and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews to provide relevant information as well as possible solutions for service improvements. Maintain an open line of communication with the client and recommend solutions to workforce challenges that may arise. Achieve staffing objectives of the client per agreed labor strategy, establish recruiting requirements, and develop/manage a candidate database. Complete any additional duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a staffing, manufacturing, logistics, or similar on-site environment. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Strong customer service skills and ability to lead a team. Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in an organized fashion and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite. A detail-oriented, hands-on individual with a positive attitude toward change, resilient under pressure, and capable of thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, and energetic environment. Why join us?
