Your New Role
The People & Culture Coordinator will support the Technology and Operations People & Culture team as well as the business by assisting in the development and execution of P&C initiatives that ensure Warner bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice, providing solutions to employee-related matters, and assisting with general project management, conflict resolution, relationship management, delivering solutions for our managers and employees. As a positive self-starter with a collaborative mindset, you will be actively involved in helping to deliver an HR agenda in partnership with our HR centers of excellence and the Technology and Operations People & Culture team. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to the function and thrive in a dynamic organizational culture.
Your Role Accountabilities
Support the Technology and Operations People & Culture team by providing project coordination and assisting in the implementation of corporate programs, talent management, compensation planning, employee development, succession planning, performance management, change management initiatives, etc.
Provide support on transformational organizational design work
Manage various reporting related tasks including data reconciliation and position management activities
Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline processes within the P&C team and across project teams
Handle routine inquiries, correspondences, and departmental administration for the People & Culture team
Work with data and metrics, using Excel and Workday
Effectively collaborate with business partners
Create presentation decks, charts, graphs, and various materials, as needed
Apply and communicate company policies
Develop strong working relationships with all People & Culture COE functions (including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits) to provide ‘seamless’ support and guidance to the business
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Human Resources
Collaborative working style
Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn, grow and develop
Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Strong in communicating with others and builds strong relationships with colleagues and employees
Good judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, data and project management skills
High level of proficiency with Excel formulas, formatting, pivot tables and other analytical functions
Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices
Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce
Knowledge of national, state and local Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws and regulations
