Job Overview:
IN THE DOOR
is seeking a dedicated and dynamic One-Stop Operator to oversee and coordinate the delivery of services throughout the CSRA Region. This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations at the comprehensive workforce center, affiliate centers, and any current or future access sites. The One-Stop Operator will play a key role in partnership development, customer service delivery, and data tracking to improve workforce outcomes for job seekers, especially those facing barriers to employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Service Navigation:
Guide and support job seekers, providing them with resources, services, and tailored assistance to help them overcome barriers to employment. Assist customers with enrollment into workforce development programs and services. Offer an overview of service center offerings, including training programs, educational opportunities, job fairs, and employer connections.
Resource Connection:
Connect job seekers with relevant resources to support their career goals, such as training, job fairs, and employment opportunities. Provide individualized support on job search strategies, resume building, and interview preparation.
Barrier Mitigation:
Identify and assist customers in overcoming barriers such as lack of transportation, childcare, or access to education, ensuring equitable access to services.
Data Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of services provided, tracking outcomes, and program effectiveness. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and leadership on service delivery and performance metrics.
Program Development and Implementation:
Design and manage career services programs and workshops, such as resume writing, interview prep, and employer engagement activities. Monitor the effectiveness of programs and adjust strategies to ensure positive outcomes for job seekers.
Staff Management and Supervision:
Recruit, train, and supervise the career services team, including Career Service Navigators, job coaches, and volunteers. Ensure staff adherence to policies, procedures, and service delivery standards. Develop and manage staff schedules to optimize service coverage and efficiency.
Partnership and Employer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong partnerships with workforce development organizations, employers, and community partners. Organize quarterly partnership meetings and establish referral processes for partners not located at physical sites. Coordinate employer recruitment events and manage employer engagement within the service center.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Monitor service delivery to ensure high standards and compliance with program guidelines and policies. Conduct customer satisfaction evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in workforce development, career services, or related field. Strong understanding of workforce development programs, services, and barriers to employment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience in data tracking, reporting, and program evaluation. Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of staff and volunteers. Strong partnership development and employer engagement experience. Knowledge of compliance standards and quality assurance in workforce services. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
