Manager Position Summary:
The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting our company’s mission by managing all aspects of human resources. This includes recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and workforce development. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, organized professional, and compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment and staffing initiatives, including caregiver hiring and retention strategies. Manage new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth integration and compliance. Oversee employee relations, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions. Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with state and federal labor laws. Monitor caregiver certifications, licensures, and training requirements. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with the mission and values of Always Best Care. Assist leadership in workforce planning and organizational development strategies. Handle payroll coordination and benefits administration in conjunction with the finance team.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in HR management, preferably in healthcare, home care, or senior services. Strong knowledge of Louisiana labor laws, HR compliance, and employee relations best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of professionalism, discretion, and compassion for seniors and caregivers.
