JOB PURPOSE

The Human Resources Manager is tasked with overseeing and directing the routine operations of the Human Resources (HR) department, thereby managing the organization’s human capital. This role involves multiple responsibilities, including but not limited to recruitment and retention, workforce development planning, compensation and benefits management, payroll administration, employee orientation and onboarding, employment training, performance management, employee relations, employee safety and welfare, policy and procedure development and administration, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Manages the daily operations of the department. Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Supervise and facilitate employee orientation and onboarding processes. Provides support and guidance to HR generalists Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts and providing necessary coaching and mentoring. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILL, LICENSURE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
