Job Description

Human Resources Business Partner WyCo Services Covington, LA 70433 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our company. This on-site, in person role is an important partner to our business, providing operational support, including strong expertise in payroll processing and management.

Responsibilities:

Handling all aspects of ‘hands-on’ payroll processing while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Collaborate with the finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing submittals. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and payroll management. Provide expert advice on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and other HR-related matters. Assist with talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data. Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to improve employee engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business with Human Resources concentration or a directly related degree. In lieu of a degree : full-scope successful work experience of 12-15 years in progressively responsible HR roles may be considered in conjunction with some education. Solid 5+ years of professional-level full-time HR generalist experience, with a strong focus on actual payroll processing and compliance. Ability to learn the department processes and the business. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems ( ADP, QuickBooks, Paychex, etc.) .

Work history to include:

timekeeping and payroll for 100+ employees (multi-state experience a plus), staffing/recruiting, benefits, compensation, employee relations. Meticulous and organized. Knowledgeable in current employment law. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters, including legal requirements for PHI, etc.. Must be flexible to work 40 hours plus overtime, as needed. Position will typically work Monday-Friday on-site; not a hybrid or remote position . Expert skill level in Excel; advanced skills in other MS Office software. Ability to multi-task in various computer applications while maintaining high degree of accuracy with all data. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. HR Certification a plus. Excellent opportunity with benefits.

$56,100.00 – $83,200.00 per year
