Job Description
TECCA is excited to announce the opening of an Assistant HR Director position whose primary responsibilities are to assist the Human Resources Director by providing support to TECCA’s Human Resources Department. The Assistant Director performs analytical, administrative and operational work to assist the Director of Human Resources in managing recruitment and retention, training, professional development, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with federal and state regulations. The Assistant Director assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the Human Resources Director.
Location Assignment:
The TECCA main office, located at 141 Mansion Dr. East Walpole, MA.
Position and Responsibilities:
The Assistant will provide analytical, administrative and operational support to the HR Director. The Assistant will perform a variety of duties related to personnel functions including but not limited to:
Recruitment and Hiring:
Assist with recruitment processes including attending job/career fairs, managing social media platforms, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, onboarding new hires.
Employee Relations:
Assist with addressing employee concerns, resolving disputes and ensuring a positive work environment.
Training and Development:
Assist with the development and delivery of training programs for employees.
HR Policy Implementation:
Assist with implementing and managing all HR policies and procedures including all LOA requests, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Benefits Administration:
Work closely with Payroll on the administration of employee benefits.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate, up to date employee records including appropriate license for all certified staff in confidential electronic employee personnel files
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze HR data for various projects including EPIMS reporting. Understand and prepare various documents with accuracy.
Performance Management:
Assist with performance reviews, development plans and investigations. Maintain accurate records in Vector.
In addition, the Assistant Director will:
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; follow through on issues in a timely manner.
Provide customer service, both in-person and by phone and email, answer questions from employees while demonstrating a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Director of Human Resources and/or their designee.
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
