Job Description
Assistant to the Human Resources Director Maine Recycling Corporation 61 Capital Avenue, Lisbon, ME 04252 The Human Resources Generalist assists in tasks necessary to assure accurate compensation, including pay and benefit deductions, for all associates paid on a weekly basis, and provides support for all other primary human resources functions. Assist in Workers Compensation and Safety for compliance within OSHA standards, and guidelines. Essential Job Functions Creates payroll record for new employees, and verifies benefit info for newly eligible employees Interviews, hires and conducts onboarding for new production employees. Oversees Work Medicine interactions for employee’s pre-placement and injury appointments. Tracks employee performance, particularly regarding attendance and punctuality. Assists in compliances with Self-insured Workers Compensation group.
OSHA 300
upkeep of injuries. Skills/Experience/Training Required Experience in human resources management (staffing; legal compliance; employee relations; OSHA compliances). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Some safety experience a plus.

Our fleet of 30 trucks with over 200 trailers enables us to provide state wide pickup services for both new and existing beverage distributors in Maine. MRC currently employs 80 to 100 employees operating from our Lisbon Falls location.
