Overview
This position reports to the Manager, HRIS & Employee Services, and is responsible for performing HR-related duties including but not limited to:
Oversight of the Employee Store including supervision of clerical staff/cashiers, management of the Retail Control System, invoicing, inventory, and financial reporting.
Management of BIWs relationship with food-truck, vending, and micro-market service providers.
Supervision of BIWs Mail roomservices.
Reconciling Employee Store month-end reports with Finance, and performing basic quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Providing system training to clerical staff.
Supporting the HRIS Manager on a variety of projects including analysis, implementation of new programs, and system changes.
Assist in audits, standard procedure reviews and special projects as needed.
Assist in resolution of HR issues or questions from walk-ins, emails, phone calls, and other general correspondence as needed.
Assist in other areas of Human Resources as needed.
Responsibilities
High School diploma or GED required.
Associates degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
Qualifications
3 – 5 years of customer service experience in a retail environment with supervisory experience, retail management experience strongly preferred.
Experience with retail control systems required, NCR Counterpoint strongly preferred.
Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems preferred.
Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and computer skills.
Exceptional writing and grammar skills; ability to draft professional correspondence.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize daily workloads and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Strong customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, with initiative.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Basic experience in database application development preferred.
