This position requires a highly organized and proactive professional to maintain a smooth office environment, ensure compliance with HR policies, and contribute to the overall success of the caregiving staff. Visiting Angels Trainer:
Curriculum Development:

Develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises, aligned with current industry standards and client needs.

New Caregiver Orientation:

Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new caregivers covering topics like basic caregiving skills, client communication, safety procedures, infection control, and documentation practices.

Continuing Education:

Provide ongoing training sessions for existing caregivers on specialized care needs like dementia care, wound care, or mobility assistance to enhance their skills.

Skills Assessment:

Evaluate caregivers’ competency through practical demonstrations and role-playing scenarios to identify areas for improvement.

Feedback and Coaching:

Provide constructive feedback to caregivers on their performance, offering guidance and support to address any concerns or areas needing development.

Compliance Monitoring:

Ensure caregivers are adhering to company policies and ethical standards regarding client care. Collaboration with

Care Coordinators:

Work closely with care coordinators to match caregivers with appropriate clients based on their individual needs and skill sets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Caregiving Experience:

Proven experience as a caregiver in the home care industry, ideally with experience in assisting clients with various needs, including personal care, mobility support, and dementia care.

Certification:

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or equivalent certification preferred.

Teaching Ability:

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver training sessions to diverse audiences.

Compassionate Attitude:

Understanding of the emotional aspects of caregiving and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Strong Work Ethic:

Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and upholding the company’s values.

Office Responsibilities:

Professionally and promptly answer telephone calls and inquiries. Maintain office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Scan and organize client and caregiver documents in an efficient and timely manner. Perform other miscellaneous clerical tasks as required to support office operations. Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed. Manage and evaluate performance of direct report caregivers. Assist with emergency scheduling situations when present in the office.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a similar HR function. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing and evaluating employee performance. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.

Additional Information:

Must be available for after-hours/on-call duties as needed. Strong organizational and multitasking skills required. Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.
