People & Culture Coordinator Northedge Steel Rural Hall, NC 27045 About the
Role:
We’re seeking a bilingual, highly organized People & Culture Coordinator to support the HR, recruiting, training, and compliance needs of two sister companies . This high-impact, people-first role supports HR, recruiting, training, compliance, and company culture. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English , highly organized, and passionate about people, communication, and process. Occasional travel to job sites and to our Indiana location is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead recruiting and onboarding for employees and subcontractors Track performance review cycles , create templates and a clear review process, and partner with managers to ensure timely completion Schedule and coordinate (or help lead) leadership workshops, trainings, and benefits presentations Plan internal events, team-building activities, and culture-building initiatives Organize community involvement , subcontractor appreciation events, and partner gatherings Partner with the marketing team to share culture updates and employee engagement content on social media Maintain HR files, track certifications/licenses, and assist with compliance documentation Support OSHA visit documentation , workers’ comp claims, and compliance tracking Translate and communicate with Spanish-speaking employees and subcontractors Travel occasionally to job sites and our Indiana location
Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish and English (Required) 2+ years in HR, recruiting, or people operations Strong organization, communication, and follow-through Experience in construction or manufacturing preferred Willingness to travel occasionally
