HR Manager (Bilingual Mandarin) – 29902 – SX Comrise, Inc. Greensboro, NC 27407

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Bilingual Mandarin HR Manager to join our construction and equipment installation company based in North Carolina. This role requires someone with a strong generalist HR background, particularly in recruiting skilled laborers , such as construction workers and equipment installers. The ideal candidate comes from a construction or labor-intensive manufacturing background and understands the unique challenges of workforce management in such environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment for field workers, including construction and equipment installation staff Oversee core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and performance management Collaborate closely with operations and project managers to understand hiring needs and workforce planning Maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws and internal company policies Monitor workforce metrics, turnover, and retention strategies Provide guidance and support to site supervisors and crew leads on HR issues Coordinate with external staffing agencies when needed

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HR Supervisor, HR Generalist, or similar role Hands-on experience recruiting skilled workers , especially in construction or equipment installation Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Industry experience in construction or labor-intensive manufacturing highly preferred Bilingual English and Mandarin is highly preferred
