At Carrier, the Senior Regional Human Resources Business Partner is a key player in a collaborative, high-impact HR team. Supporting the Western U.S. region of our Commercial HVAC Service business, this role partners with senior leaders, employees, unions, and HR colleagues to drive alignment between people and performance. The region includes approximately 700 employees across 20+ offices, including unionized Field Service Technicians. This is a highly visible opportunity based onsite in Charlotte, NC, supporting a business unit undergoing exciting transformation. With up to 25% travel, you’ll build strong relationships across locations and functions, helping to deliver consistent HR support, solve workforce challenges, and execute initiatives that move the business forward. What you’ll do As a Senior Regional Human Resources Business Partner, you will: Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives across the region
Lead employee engagement and retention strategies that support a strong, inclusive culture
Address complex employee relations issues, working closely with leaders and legal partners
Support development, performance, and succession planning efforts across functions
Ensure compliance with labor laws, union requirements, and internal HR policies
Use data and insights to inform HR decisions and advise business leaders
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver consistent programs and solutions

HR Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5 + years of experience in Human Resources Preferred Qualifications HR Generalist/Business Partner experience in a large company with multiple locations
Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends
Post-graduate degree (complete or in-process)
Interpersonal and communication skills
Build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
