Job Summary:
The Workforce Business Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing business operations to drive growth and efficiency for Compass Group within the Workforce Strategy Team. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong data analytics skills, ability to translate data into actionable insights, business and financial acumen, project management experience, and expertise in workforce strategy. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and lead projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze business performance using data analytics tools and methodologies to inform strategic decisions. + Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives. + Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. + Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with various teams to drive initiatives and improve processes. + Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, making recommendations based on market analysis and financial viability. + Develop and execute workforce strategies to optimize talent management, including recruitment, retention, and development. + Prepare and present detailed reports on business performance, financials, projections, and strategic plans to senior management. + Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). + 3-5 years of experience as a Business Manager or in a similar managerial role. + Strong expertise in data analytics and data visualization, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar. + Workforce Strategy and Time & Attendance experience + Solid business and financial acumen, with experience in financial planning, budgeting, analysis and payroll concepts (preferred). + Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teams. + Proven expertise in workforce strategy, including talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development. + Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Time and Attendance experience + Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2). + Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems. + Proven track record of driving business growth and efficiency.
