Director of Human Resources 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27612 The Director of Human Resources is responsible for directing and coordinating the policies and practices of human resources including staffing, compensation, benefits administration, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Ensures selection, training, monitoring, and evaluation of departmental staff. Develops/implements human resources plan for clinics including recruitment, selection, promotion/transfer, orientation, compensation administration, and labor relations in collaboration with management team. Educates/advises departmental directors and managers on personnel issues including termination, labor disputes, morale. Oversees the conduct of compensation surveys and recommends changes to ensure group remains competitive with market rates for wages/salaries and benefits. Oversees records of worker’s compensation, equal employment opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), unemployment, and other employee claims. Recommends changes to policy and training to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Practices open-door policy to encourage employees to discuss grievances. Facilitates peer-to-peer and employee-manager discussion/mediations. Recommends and facilitates employee recognition efforts and events. To qualify for this job you must have: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources. PHR/SPHR or
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
Minimum seven years of experience in human resources management including management of HR staff. Minimum two years in the healthcare industry. Preferred education and experience Master’s degree in business administration.
Physical requirements and work environment:
Sitting approximately 90% percent of the day. Walking and standing on a daily basis.
