Job Description

Human Resources Manager Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. This individual is responsible for overseeing and executing core HR functions that support the organization’s strategic goals. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, fosters a positive workplace culture, and leads initiatives in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding. Serve as a strategic partner to leadership by advising on HR best practices, workforce planning, and organizational structure. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company values and legal requirements. Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans. Support compensation and benefits administration in collaboration with finance and external vendors. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization. Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate employee data and reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with HRIS platforms and data-driven decision-making. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
