This role plays a key part in supporting our mission to transform healthcare through exceptional care, education, research, and community engagement. The Director of HR will oversee the development and implementation of human resources policies and programs, ensure legal compliance, and drive initiatives that support recruitment, retention, talent development, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead the daily operations of the Human Resource department. Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new staff in the department. Conduct performance evaluations and support employee relations. Collaborate wit senior leadership on workforce planning, retention strategies, and organizational development. Oversee HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigation, and training. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies. Develop and manage departmental budgets. Conduct HR data analysis and reporting using HRIS and talent management systems. Monitor and implement best practices and emerging trends in HR, employment law, and talent strategy.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in human resource management. SHRM-CP or
SHRM-SCP
highly preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Deep understanding of HR law and compliance. Proficient in Microsoft office and HRIS platforms. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to adapt, prioritize, and lead a team effectively.
