Job Summary The Area HR Manager is a self-motivated, experiencedand focused HR professional assigned to specific business areas andgeographies with the intent of serving as a local touchpoint foremployees and leaders within the assigned groups. The Area HRManager should have strong active listening skills and a naturalability to establish relationships and gain the trust ofstakeholders at all levels of the organization. A core function ofthis role will be gathering organizational data along with feedbackfrom leaders and employees to identify, explore, and address keyissues and concerns within the assigned business area and/orgeography to drive a more engaged workforce. The Area HR Manageralso partners closely with other HR constituents to ensure aconsistent and equitable approach to established policies,processes, and experience. Responsibilities Drives a cadence ofongoing engagement with local teams through the facilitation ofinformal and formal feedback gathering, including the facilitationof a regularly scheduled employee roundtables; partners withappropriate HR colleagues and leadership to address systemictrends, including recommendations for amendments/enhancements tocurrent policies and practices. Partners with HRBP and COE teams tocommunicate annual people activities (goal setting, year-endreviews, compliance training, benefits open enrollment, engagementsurvey completion), providing clarity and insight on process,timelines, and required actions. Proactively reviews andunderstands the local Organizational Health reporting/data(turnover, spans & layers, headcount, engagement survey results),to share information and insights with business leadership.

Participates in employee actions, including support withcommunication plans and logistics related to restructuring events.

Manages data updates within assigned region and business area(s)related to large-scale title updates, reporting changes related toreorganizations, etc. Assists with the creation and editing oforganizational charts within assigned business area/geography.

Ability to carry out change management and alignment with AlticeGoals & Mindsets Educates leaders on key resources related todeveloping and engaging their teams; recruiting, interviewing, andonboarding new employees; and their role in key people processessuch as goal setting, performance reviews, merit planning, etc.

Directs employees to self-service resources related to health &wellness, policy information, and development offerings, as well ashow to engage with HR team members (HRSC, ER, Regional HR Managerteam) for matters that necessitate further HR involvement.

Participates in local crisis management response, includingdisaster relief efforts, employee deaths, pandemics, and otheremployee-impacting crises in partnership with Employee Relations,as needed. Recommends and implements enhancements to currentprocesses and overall effectiveness of the Area HR Managerfunction. Travel, up to 50%, based on business needs, to supportengagement and roundtables for all business unit in the localmarkets with occasional travel outside of market. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related field preferred. 8years’ experience in a previous HR role, including heavy employeeand leadership facing HR experience. Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate and buildeffective partnerships with employees and leaders at all levelswithin an organization. Ability to effectively manage multipleresponsibilities at once and prioritize without jeopardizingdeadlines. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborativeenvironment, with the ability to change direction quickly andseamlessly. Able to handle sensitive information with discretionand integrity Strong facilitation skills, with previous experiencefacilitating employee roundtables/feedback sessions. Ability toconsult and actively listen, both within and outside of facilitatedprograms. Process/experience-improvement mindset, with aninclination for identifying more efficient ways of working. Stronganalytical skills with the ability to use and interpret data toguide the business. Working knowledge, understanding, and practicalapplication of employment laws and HR practices, including stateand local laws specific to assigned geography. Intermediate levelMicrosoft Excel skills, including working knowledge of pivottables, advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, with the ability tomanage and organize large datasets. Proficiency with MS Visiopreferred. Experience with SuccessFactors preferred. This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting tocompany operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied incompliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based ona number of job-related factors, including skills and experience.

The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position inthe posted location is $102,816.00 – $168,912.00/ year. Therate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time ofhire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
