Human Resources Dept Position Summary Summary:

The HR Business Partner is responsible for recruiting qualified applicants for the vacant Nursing, Allied Health, Clerical, and Support positions to support the staffing needs of the hospital within the approved budget. HRBP is responsible for a full cycle recruitment from interviews, reference and background checks to offers and onboarding. Supports the HR Director and Vice President of Human Resources with General Human Resources Functions including Employee Relations, Training and Education, Orientation, Compensation and Community Relations. Supports employees and managers with all aspects of Human Resources needs. Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required. Masters preferred. Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English Minimum three years prior experience in a Hospital/Healthcare Human Resources Department Required. High volume recruitment and employee relations experience is a must.

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Public speaking skill are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and New York State Labor Law.

Familiarity with Joint Commission, DOH and other regulatory agency Human Resources standards License/Certifications PHR, SHRM-CP or NAHCR certification preferred.

Working Conditions Other information:

Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Will require prolonged periods at computer terminal. Ability to bend and retrieve files. Frequent telephone use. Periodic Travel to MSSN Affiliated Sites and Community Events
