Job Description

The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining our diverse workforce, managing the unique challenges of a food manufacturing and distribution setting, including strict adherence to USDA regulations, food safety protocols, and managing a workforce across multiple shifts.

salary:

$65,000 – $90,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 4

AssociateResponsibilities Continuous Improvement:

Support and champion a culture of continuous improvement, including initiatives related to lean manufacturing within the processing plant and efficiency in distribution.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

Analyze HR data (e.g., absenteeism by shift/department, yield/productivity metrics, worker’s compensation incidents related to safety) to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.

Diverse Workforce Relations:

Manage employee relations for a diverse workforce, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly, consistently, and in compliance with all labor laws and internal policies.

Engagement Initiatives:

Develop and implement employee engagement programs tailored to a food processing and distribution environment, such as recognition for safety adherence, quality milestones, and efficient production.

Managing Shifts:

Effectively address HR challenges specific to multi-shift operations, including communication, scheduling, and ensuring equitable treatment.

Leadership Development:

Provide coaching and training to supervisors and leads on effective communication, performance feedback, and managing teams in a fast-paced food production environment.
