General Summary:

Redefine WFM objectives and opportunities when looking across geographies and divisions for THNY. Key to this role is the ability to integrate interdependencies of key labor elements between Finance, operations, nursing, HR to tell the story and recommend/advise on key decision making. More specific job duties include the following: Lead Trinity-prescribed organizational workforce initiatives and strategies including labor productivity variance reviews, labor productivity target adjustments and premium pay control processes. Represent NY on Labor Stabilization calls with Trinity to push out system-wide initiatives with a focus on the following four key areas: Productivity management Premium pay management/utilization/structure Capacity management Human capital management Weekly productivity reviews Weekly VRC reviews and contract labor Weekly premium pay utilization and approval Develop and manage Internal benchmarking throughout THNY Compare like units between SYR and ALB Active side by side analysis to identify opportunities and communicate/champion these opportunities to appropriate key stakeholders Staffing grids

  • assess why similar or different
  • identify opportunities Pay practices Optimize utilization of UKG through championing efforts between opportunities identified and nursing leadership (extensions reporting, dimensions, etc.) Scheduling
  • identify opportunity in scheduling balancing to drive down OT and PP Local subject matter expert/at the elbow support for UKG.

All tickets are funneled through WFM to be even reviewed by SO.

Pay Range:

$50.85

  • $76.

30 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
