Director of Payroll & HR Position Available In Queens, New York

Director of Payroll & HR RAM Recruiting Queens, NY 11691 A well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) group based in the Five Towns is seeking a highly organized and experienced Director of Payroll & HR to oversee and streamline payroll operations and human resources across multiple long-term care facilities. This is a strategic leadership role combining both operational oversight and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple SNFs, ensuring accuracy and compliance Oversee HR operations including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and recordkeeping Act as a point of contact for payroll and HR inquiries across all facilities Implement and maintain systems for timekeeping, PTO tracking, benefits administration, and reporting Support recruitment, retention, and performance management initiatives Collaborate with facility administrators and corporate leadership to ensure HR/payroll alignment with company goals

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in payroll and HR management , preferably in a multi-facility SNF or healthcare setting Familiarity with labor laws, DOH regulations , and best practices in long-term care HR Proficiency in payroll/HR systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, UKG, or similar) Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead a small team and juggle multiple priorities
