HR Manager & Executive Administrative Coordinator Islamic School 9020 191st St, Hollis, NY 11423 Position Overview We’re looking for an HR Manager & Executive Administrative Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to driving results. This position is ideal for someone who is resourceful, independent, and takes full ownership of their responsibilities – someone who ensures work gets done and goals are met, regardless of the task. The ideal candidate will lead all HR functions across our centers while also executing critical administrative and operational projects that contribute to the financial growth and smooth execution of internal systems and priorities.

Responsibilities Lead end-to-end recruitment:

job descriptions, postings, screening, interviews, hiring, and onboarding Maintain and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor laws Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, documentation, and offboarding Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations Track and schedule employee performance reviews and evaluation processes Maintain accurate and secure employee files and records Coordinate professional development and staff training initiatives Support leadership in employee retention, culture building, and engagement strategies Draft HR memos, letters, warnings, contracts, and other personnel communications Key Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Execute and manage operational tasks assigned by the administrative team and senior leadership Handle logistics, coordination, and follow-through for projects that impact revenue, programming, or service delivery Support with vendor management, research, communications, scheduling, and reporting Assist with grant implementation, events, and community initiatives Track task progress across departments and ensure key priorities are fulfilled Draft clear professional correspondence and documentation on behalf of leadership Be a hands-on team player willing to take on a wide variety of responsibilities as needed Who You Are A problem-solver and self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do Highly organized, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs Comfortable wearing multiple hats and managing overlapping responsibilities Mission-aligned , focused, and takes full ownership of their work Works until the task is complete , not just until the day ends Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, operations, or administrative leadership roles Strong knowledge of NYC and NYS labor laws and HR best practices Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion Proficient in Google Workspace, task/project management tools, and HR systems

$70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
