The Role:
The Equity Compensation Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day activities in administering the company’s internal, private equity program.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s internal equity plans including grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to equity compensation. Oversee dividend distributions and ensure accurate and timely processing. Support liquidity events, tender offers, and other equity-related transactions. Produce relevant reporting for leadership. Prepare subscription and other equity-issuance agreements. Maintain pending grant lists and assist in preparing materials for Board meetings. Maintain equity database integrity and ensure accuracy of recordkeeping. Update and maintain accurate equity participant information. Partner with Legal, Finance, and Payroll to ensure execution of equity-related processes. Serve as a subject matter expert for employee inquiries related to equity programs and grants. May support other company compensation management activities.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years equity administration experience required. Private company experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. Strong understanding of equity-related concepts, especially stock options, restricted stock units, and dividends. Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and meet multiple deadlines effectively. Detail oriented. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase or Global Shares equity software is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent client service. Ability to communicate effectively at every level within the organization.
