Arthrex Human Resources is actively seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team for the manufacturing facilities in Pendleton SC. They will work with the Director of Human Resources and the site Management team in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR activities. The ideal candidate will have strong employee relations, investigation, and technical skills along with a bachelor’s degree. Seven years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment, specializing in employee relations and engagement, coupled with five years of leadership experience will be required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and provide direction for site HR Staff.
Manage and implement site-based HR projects and initiatives.
To be a resource for the HR Director Mfg. and/or VP Human Resources regarding human resources topicspliance and assists in the strategic development and planning processes.
Work with Corporate to initiate the development, implementation, and auditing of policies and procedures as needed.
Leads investigations intoplaints of discrimination or harassment.
Analyzes training and development needs and lead the development and administration of training programs.
Leads in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
Drive diversity initiatives, employee development, organization review and other key leadership development activities.
Counsel Managers and employees consistent withpany policies/practices, legal considerations, etc. and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues.
Rollout and drive corporate programs (i.e. Team building, Community Service efforts, etc.).
Partner with site-based Manufacturing Management and/or INC team to develop and implement appropriate organizational and people strategies and solutions that align with the business objectives and deliver results
Ensure fair and consistent application ofpany policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a positive employee relations environment and help create the desired culture
Ensurepliance within functional area and support thepliance objective of the organization as a whole.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Management or Human Resources.
PHR / SPHR
Certification preferred.
A minimum of seven years Human Resources management experience in a 300+ employee manufacturing environment; Medical Device manufacturing environment preferred.
Five years of leadership/management experience required.
Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations in the areas of wage and hour laws, employment law, and workers’pensation.
Strongmunication skills and ability to lead and drive change in a manufacturing and/or logistics environment.
Track record of successfully managing high volume HR processes.
Ability and willingness to be a part of the plant floor connecting with the workforce and delivering strategic and tactical HR value
Coaching and counseling on all levels of the organization
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or
Training:
The Human Resource Manager must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems, and an ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
Must possess excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal and have excellent organization and follow up skills.
Proven ability to initiate and provide workforce metrics.
Ability to investigate and bring closure toplex HR issues.
Machine, Tools, and/or
Equipment Skills:
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SAP is a plus.
Strong business technical writing skills and excellentmunication/people skills.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability toprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verballymunicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
