Job Description

Human Resources Manager 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Chapin, SC 29036 The Heritage at Lowman Retirement Community is a faith-based non-profit organization looking for compassionate, caring professionals who dedicate themselves to providing quality care and promoting the highest in customer service. Located in the Midlands of South Carolina near the shores of beautiful Lake Murray, the Heritage at Lowman is a growing, robust community of active senior adults. We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Human Resources Manager will handle all facets of human resources functions.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the implementation and execution of Human Resources policies and procedures Develop and/or review recommendations related to performance management, employee relations issues, corrective actions, and policy interpretations Conducts recruitment efforts for all teammates; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations, counseling; conducts exit interviews Actively promotes positive employee engagement with a focus on retention of teammates Coordinate employee medical-related screenings and consult with the employee health nurse concerning employee health and safety issues Oversee payroll functions and procedures, assuring accurate and timely compensation for employees Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers Conducts or assists with new hire orientation Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of human resources, preferably in a health-care environment Comprehensive knowledge of human resource rules and regulations at the federal and state level Come join our team and find personal and professional satisfaction as you share your talents and skills with us!
