Job Description
Description Our growing client in Whites Creek, TN, is looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team on an interim basis. This is a contract position that requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual to oversee HR compliance and employee relations while ensuring smooth daily operations. The role involves working closely with the HR Director and other team members to maintain alignment with organizational goals and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Oversee unemployment claim processes and workers’ compensation cases.
- Administer and maintain the HR system, including Paycom.
- Serve as a backup for payroll processing when necessary.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with FMLA and other labor laws.
- Generate HR reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues effectively.
- Provide guidance on HR law and best practices to ensure legal compliance. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of HR compliance experience.
- Proficient in HR systems, particularly Paycom.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, including FMLA and labor regulations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters.
- Familiarity with workers’ compensation and unemployment claims processes.
