This is a full-time, salaried role at our corporate headquarters in Knoxville, TN. Functional Pathways is a leading provider of rehabilitation therapy services, specializing in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and independent living centers. Key Responsibilities Engagement & Culture Development Develop and execute employee engagement strategies that reflect the values and unique demands of a healthcare environment. Champion a culture of care, inclusion, and continuous feedback across clinical and non-clinical teams. Partner with leadership to build engagement programs that support employee well-being, especially in high-stress roles. Surveys & Feedback Loops Manage employee engagement and pulse surveys; analyze and present results with actionable recommendations. Conduct listening sessions and roundtables to gather insights from nurses, providers, and support staff. Recognition & Retention Programs Lead service recognition, employee appreciation events, and reward programs tailored to healthcare professionals. Design initiatives to improve retention, especially in frontline and hard-to-fill roles. Wellness & Communication Oversee wellness programs, mental health initiatives, and peer support groups. Work closely with internal communications to ensure messaging resonates across diverse employee groups and shifts. Data & Reporting Track and report on engagement metrics (e.g., eNPS, turnover rates, burnout indicators). Provide monthly dashboards and quarterly summaries to HR and executive leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 3-5+ years of experience in HR or engagement roles, ideally within a healthcare or patient-facing organization. Strong understanding of the unique challenges of healthcare workers (e.g., shift work, burnout, compliance). Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills; able to engage cross-functional and multi-site teams. Proficient in tools like Culture Amp, Officevibe, or Qualtrics; experience with HRIS and healthcare compliance a plus.
