Staffing Manager SHADES of Development Knoxville, TN 37931 Staffing Manager SHADES of Development, Knoxville, TN SHADES of Development, a non-profit organization that provides after-school enrichment programs to nine Knox County schools is looking for a Staffing Manager . Our organization typically maintains a workforce of approximately 70 part-time employees that are direct service providers to children and youth.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, interview, and hire staff Assist in onboarding new staff Manage and maintain employee files Manage and post weekly employee schedules Manage and fill schedule requests and call-ins Work with site directors daily to ensure adequate staffing Assist directors with staff coaching guidance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, education or related field preferred At least three years of staffing/hiring or childcare/education administration experience Proficient use of Google applications and web-based recruiting tools Experience working in an after-school program is a plus

Position Details:
The Staffing Manager will work out of our Central Office in Karns but will occasionally travel to our nine locations to conduct second interviews This is a year-round position, 10:00am – 6:00pm M-F during the school year and variable hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm in the summer Our central office is open during Knox County in-service days as well as some days over fall break, winter break and spring break. Wear the SHADES of Development uniform as outlined in the staff manual SHADES of Development is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace Pre-employment background check, physical, fingerprinting and drug screen required
