JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources (HR) Operations Manager proactively and independently manages various HR projects and initiatives. This position collaborates with internal and external partners to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. The HR Operations Manager plans, directs and administers various employee programs. This position focuses on identifying and building internal and external partnerships as well as representing HR with cross-departmental and community initiatives. The HR Operations Manager assists with talent acquisition by supporting processes related to recruiting and attracting, interviewing and assessing, and onboarding top talent. This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and provides excellent customer service to employees while demonstrating the Company values and supporting the mission.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively and independently manage various HR projects and initiatives Collaborate with internal and external partners to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency Schedule and facilitate HR project meetings, manage project objectives and hold team accountable to ensure the project stays on track Create HR project budgets and monitor expenditures compared to the budget Develop HR project timelines, prepare notes and meeting collateral, manage logistics to include meeting invitations, conference room reservations, technology needs, etc. Conduct research related to HR strategies and best practices utilizing professional associations and industry resources. Prepare executive summaries that include evidence-based insights, recommendations, and innovations which refine and advance department initiatives. Plan, direct and administer various employee programs. Identify specific tasks and delegate accordingly. Represent HR with cross-departmental and community initiatives Create and coordinate HR branded employee communications to ensure relevant, appropriate, and timely information is received Oversight and maintenance of the HR department’s electronic collaboration and communication channels (i.e. SharePoint, Company Intranet, etc.) Maintain awareness of Company initiatives where HR support may be needed Responsible for Independent Contractor on-boarding and off-boarding processes as well as contract management and maintenance Coordinate and facilitate HR initiatives, events, and employee committees Manage the Randall Clemons Wilson Bank & Trust Employee Care Fund in partnership with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Identify and build internal and external partnerships crucial to the success of the HR department Assist with talent acquisition by supporting recruiting and attracting, interviewing and assessing, and onboarding top talent Assist with preparation of Board and Committee meeting materials Assist with managing the HR department budget and monitor expenses Assist with HR invoice review and approval Maintain HR policies and procedures Review and distribute electronic and hard copy mail Anticipate and maintain HR supplies, equipment, and branded inventory. Research and evaluate HR products, place orders, and verify receipt. Ensure operation of office equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions and request maintenance when necessary Maintain the company’s labor law poster requirements per federal and state law Assist in managing electronic personnel records in the HRIS Responsible for personnel records retention and document destruction as provided by law Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program Attend training as requested Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
