HighFive Healthcare is a doctor-led dental support organization specializing in oral surgery and endodontics. We partner with specialists across the Southeast to provide comprehensive practice management services—including HR, marketing, IT, finance, and compliance—so physicians can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process across all divisions—supporting both our clinical partners and corporate teams. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with hiring managers, identify top talent, and help shape the future of HighFive through strategic and thoughtful hiring practices. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and develop effective sourcing strategies. Build strong relationships with internal teams to influence and streamline the hiring process. Use data to track recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) and recommend process improvements. Source and engage candidates using job boards, social media platforms, and networking opportunities. Manage job postings and candidate pipelines through our applicant tracking system (ATS). Screen applicants, schedule interviews, and participate in candidate evaluations. Assist in creating and maintaining up-to-date job descriptions. Collaborate on offer development, including compensation analysis, start dates, and onboarding coordination. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Represent HighFive at career fairs and recruiting events, helping to build our employer brand. Coordinate background checks and ensure timely communication with hiring managers. Partner with the FP&A team to analyze compensation trends and position requests. Perform other HR-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field—or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred. Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative approach. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills. Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including critical thinking and problem-solving. Strong working knowledge of recruiting platforms and ATS systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel as needed. High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices. Working Environment This position is hybrid with in-office work in our Birmingham, Alabama office expected from Mondays to Thursdays and remote work available on Fridays. This position is based in a professional office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment including computers, phones, and printers. Physical Demands While this role is largely sedentary, it may occasionally require lifting files or supplies (up to 15 pounds) and light physical movement such as bending, reaching, or walking.
