Job Description
Recruiter Capstone Research Corporation 6723 Odyssey Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35806 We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven Recruiter to lead and execute full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple departments in a fast-paced government contracting environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and hiring top talent while ensuring compliance with federal hiring regulations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle recruitment process for corporate and technical roles across multiple business units. Partner with hiring managers to create customized recruitment strategies, define job requirements, and draft job descriptions aligned with government contracting needs. Source candidates using various platforms, job boards, networking, and social media. Build and maintain proactive pipelines of qualified candidates for high-demand and hard-to-fill technical roles, including those requiring security clearances. Screen, interview, and assess candidates, providing actionable insights to hiring managers based on skills, qualifications, and cultural fit. Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance, ensuring clear and timely communication. Maintain accurate and compliant applicant records in the ATS and generate recruitment performance reports. Drive talent acquisition initiatives including employer branding, outreach, and recruiting campaigns. Establish and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, and career services offices to support talent pipeline development. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams on onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure continuity and compliance. Use recruitment metrics and data analytics to refine strategies and improve efficiency. Represent the company at career fairs, hiring events, military transition events, and in community outreach efforts. Maintain compliance with OFCCP, EEO, and other federal contracting regulations. Assist with a variety of HR functions such as employee engagement initiatives, special department projects, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department. Serve as a resource to employees for HR inquiries and provide a welcoming and helpful experience to all who interact with the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a government contracting or highly regulated environment. Possesses a friendly, professional, and engaging demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of ATS systems and recruiting analytics Demonstrated ability to increase hiring output and reduce recruitment timelines. Experience working with security-cleared candidates is a plus. Strong sourcing expertise across various platforms and channels. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
