Recruiter for trucking Company Ali Star Inc Arkansas City, AR 71630 • Remote We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter as an Independent Contractor (1099 Remote) to join our growing trucking company. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified CDL-A and non-CDL drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and administrative staff. The ideal candidate has experience in transportation or logistics recruiting and is skilled in managing the full recruitment life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Source qualified candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and industry contacts. Conduct phone screens, interviews, and background checks for drivers and staff. Coordinate with operations to understand hiring needs and job requirements. Maintain an updated database of applicants and track recruitment metrics. Ensure DOT compliance during the hiring process for CDL drivers. Assist new hires with onboarding documents and orientation scheduling. Promote the company culture and values to attract long-term employees. Attend job fairs, CDL schools, and networking events as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in trucking, logistics, or transportation. Understanding of DOT regulations and driver qualification files is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and meet hiring deadlines. Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), MS Office, and recruiting tools. High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is a plus.
