Talent Acquisition Asscociate MEC General Contractors 445 Pineda Court, Melbourne, FL 32940 Job Description MEC has been providing exceptional and top-tier commercial construction services for over 50 years. With two offices located in Orlando and Melbourne, FL and our new Dallas, Texas office, we are rapidly growing! A Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for assisting the recruitment process, identifying and maintaining communication with top talent, and ensuring a positive candidate experience from start to finish. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment preferred. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Knowledge of the construction industry preferred. Responsibilities Assist in sourcing and screening candidates for various roles across departments. Use job boards, social media platforms, and networking tools to attract and identify qualified candidates. Identify top talent and cultivate relationships for future recruitment needs. Review resumes, applications, and evaluate candidates based on job requirements and company culture fit. Manage and utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process and track candidate information. Create and manage job descriptions, post job openings on relevant platforms, and ensure job postings align with organizational branding and objectives. Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Prepare interview materials to ensure smooth interview processes. Assist with onboarding of new hires. Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing them with timely updates and feedback. Other duties as assigned.
