As the Recruiter, you will play a vital role in attracting and acquiring top talent to support our company’s growth and success. You will collaborate with hiring managers, build relationships with candidates, and ensure a seamless recruitment process from start to finish.

Compensation:
This is a base+ commission role
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and administrative staff. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements. Create job descriptions and postings that accurately represent the roles and attract suitable candidates. Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry associations, to source and identify potential candidates. Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews with qualified candidates. Provide timely feedback and maintain strong communication throughout the recruitment process. Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit. Evaluate candidates based on predefined criteria and present recommendations to hiring managers. Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities to promote the company and attract potential candidates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies. Negotiate offers, handle employment contracts, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. Build and maintain a network of industry professionals, referral sources, and external partners to expand the talent pool and enhance recruitment efforts. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment. Implement innovative strategies to enhance the effectiveness of recruitment processes. Collaborate with the HR team on various HR initiatives, such as employer branding, employee engagement, and talent development.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the skilled trades or home services industry. Solid understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and candidate evaluation methods. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades is highly desirable. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software. Experience with recruiting tools and platforms is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Excellent interviewing and assessment skills to identify the best candidates for each position. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing recruitment needs and requirements.
