Month Contract Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Recruiter to join our dynamic HR team on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for IT and technical roles, excellent sourcing skills, and the ability to manage full-cycle recruitment processes. As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top technical talent for our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and job requirements for various IT positions (Software Engineers, Network Administrators, Data Analysts, etc.). Source, screen, and recruit top IT candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, etc.). Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate technical screenings with hiring managers. Manage candidate pipelines and ensure timely communication with all candidates throughout the hiring process. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding recruitment status, candidate progress, and challenges. Assist with negotiating offers and ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the IT field to better understand candidate profiles and industry requirements.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in IT recruitment or technical talent acquisition. Proven track record of successfully recruiting for technical roles in the IT space. Strong understanding of IT roles, including software development, network infrastructure, systems administration, and data science. Excellent sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple job requisitions simultaneously. A proactive approach to recruiting with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with recruiting for direct-hire positions. Familiarity with Tampa’s local IT talent pool and industry trends. IT-related certifications or technical knowledge (eg, understanding of software development languages or network protocols) is a plus.
